Teachers: Welcome to NY Start Up 2017 – 2018

Welcome to NY Start Up

We hope that you had a nice holiday and all of you are geared up for the new exciting term. We have news for you, so please check them up and as usual comments and suggestions are welcome and if you spot something that doesn’t work please let us know.

System ready – minor changes

Single login / registration page

All login and registration are now combined into a single page that can be found on top left corner. Try it out.

We have also changed the company page view and made some minor changes on layout etc.

Stories in 2016 – 2017 archive

We have archived the NY Start Up courses from the 2016-2017 year (and summer) and you can find them on course archive under the companies. You can use this page also as a source of inspiration for the new ideas. See more at

Teachers – ask your new course

We need to create a new course for your students to sign in and for you to manage. You can request a new course by logging in to a system and using the request new course or e-mailing to [email protected] (we need the course name, teachers and running time to set it up.)

When the course is created students can select that in the registration form.

University agreements are on the way

This year we’ll create the agreement on NY Start Up -course with participating universities. This agreement also explains the course material fee that’s used. There are two option: direct student payment or lump sum by the university. Petri will be in contact with more information.

Let’s innovate starts the NY Start Up -year

We have also introduced a Let’s Innovate -module as part of NY Start Up -program. This module is targeted for those students who have no team or idea when they enter to the course. Dugin the Let’s Innovate -module students learn teamwork, idea creation etc.  So take a look and you can also use the module as the first 2-3 months of the NY Start Up -program.
